Cassper Nyovest breaking records with Tito Mboweni – the video

CEO of Family Tree Records, Hip Hop artist and all round dapper dude; Cassper Nyovest released the oohh so sleek visuals to his hit single ‘Tito Mboweni’. In less than 18 hours of release on Thursday 30th March , Tito Mboweni hit over 100 thousand views, trending on twitter with #TitoMboweniVideo and #TitoMboweni the entire day. The video already gained 230k views by 11 am the next morning, becoming the first SA video to hit 200k mark in just about 24hours.

And now? Tito Mboweni sits at just over half a million views within days of release.

Like Ifani, regardless of what you thought you knew earlier, this video is sure to ‘show the light’ (as in the money).

The video was shot in Msinga where Ndidane lived before he passed on. Filming at this location was the closest Dr.Bone could get to Ndidane and share his memory.

 

Sat-B – African Gal

Burundi’s Sat-B drops his latest music video ‘African Gal‘ days after the official release. The captivating love song was produced by Rwandan producer Pacento and its a testament to the current high quality and output of music coming from east Africa. The video was directed by Uganda’s Meddie Menz and was shot in Kampala and Kigali.
