Nigerian songstress Niniola just dropped the music video for her latest love anthem in time for Valentine’s day. The visuals for “Akara Oyibo” which was directed by Adasa Cookey are simple, yet phenomenal as the focus remains on Niniola’s killer vocals.
4. Emma Nyra – For My Matter ft Patoranking Award winning singer, Emma Nyra joined forces with Patoranking to create the remix for her single “For My Matter”, a track that was produced by DJ Coublan. The music video was directed by Garth Von Glehn and has a “Bonnie and Clyde” vibe to it.

Patoranking recently released the visuals to his latest hit single “Another level”, a track that was produced by WizzyPro and will be on Patoranking’s upcoming album. The scenic music video was directed by Matt Alonzo and features a cameo appearance by Emma Nyra.
The first lady of the Mavin Dynasty, TiwaSavage presents her second single, “Standing Ovation” featuring Olamide. The track comes off her latest album “Red”. The music video has a lot of sass and has Tiwa showcasing her street savvy while Olamide displays his versatility.

Multi-talented producer and musician Samklef teamed up with May-D to create this turn up jam. The music video for “Birthday Girl” was produced by Samklef himself and it features scenes from what looks like a pretty groovy house party.

The breakout kid of 2015 Nasty C recently released the visuals for the remix of his smash hit “Juice Back”. The remix features Davido and Cassper Nyovest, while the track was produced by Gemini Maejor. The music video was directed by Sesan and features some fiery scenes as the trio drops some heavy bars.

Sean Tizzle – Eruku Sa’Ye Po
Sean Tizzle dropped the official music video for his latest hit single yesterday. The track Eruku Sa’Ye Po was produced by Blaq Jerzee and quickly became a street anthem. The music video was directed by MEX and was shot in various locations around Lagos, including the legendary Africa Shrine!
2. K.O ft Kid X VS Notorious B.I.G – Hypnotized VDJ Jayesh Blend
Talented VDJ Jayesh Blend shows off his amazing skills by fusing Hypnotize by Notorious B.I.G and Caracara by K.O and Kid X.
3. Brian Themba & Moneoa – The Clock
This year’s edition of Coke studio ZA has been on air for a while now and has produced some amazing collaborations. This past week, soulful singers Brian Themba and Moneoa teamed up to create an upbeat tune titled ‘The Clock’.
4. Davido – Dodo
Davido is known for always having a interesting storylines in his music videos. In the visuals for his latest single ‘Dodo’, Nigerian superstar Davido tells the story of a woman who has given her love interest some love potion in an attempt to get his attention. It’s a cute and humorous video.
The “Super Mega”, AKA has once again teamed up with the best guys in the game to create a dope jam. Baddest has been rocking the airwaves since it was released, it features Burna Boy,Khuli Chana and Yanga. The visuals for this track are on point, proving that everything AKA touches turns to gold.
The official AFRIMMA ceremony take place about two weeks ago and the winners still on a high following the festivities of that night, while some artists have already released new music in celebration of their victories. To keep the celebratory ambiance going, we have created a winner’s playlist, as a way of congratulating some of Africa’s biggest artists on their big wins.
Diamond Platnumz – Nana ft Mr Flavour
Diamond Platnumz was one of the big winners, scooping 3 awards for Best Male East Africa, Artist of the year and Video of the year for his collaboration with Mr Favour on the track ‘Nana’. The music video features cameo appearances by Vanessa Mdee, AKA, Donald and Don Jazzy
2. AKA – All eyes on me ft Da Les, JR & Burna Boy
AKA managed to create one of the hottest jams for 2014/2015, it’s no surprise that it scooped the Best collaboration award at this year’s AFRIMMA. The song features JR, Da Les and Nigerian hit-maker Burna Boy. AKA also won in the Best Male Southern Africa category.
3. Sarkodie – New Guy ft Ace Hood
Sarkodie won in the Best Rap Act category, after basically owning the rap game over the past year. In this track, he features American rapper, Ace Hood. The music video was directed by Justin Campos and features both Sarkodie and Ace Hood dropping some pretty impressive bars.
4. Vanessa Mdee – Never Ever
Fresh from her win in the Best Female East Africa category, Vanessa Mdee celebrated by releasing her latest sexy single ‘Never Ever’.
5. Youssou N’Dour – 7 seconds ft Neneh Cherry
Youssou N’Dour was presented with the Legendary award for the phenomenal music that he has produced throughout his careers spanning over 30 years.

Nathi – Nomvula
Coming from humble beginnings, Nathi took the nation by storm with this his debut album Buyelekhaya and his first hit single, Nomvula. The music video was shot in picturesque Eastern Cape and features Nathi displaying his guitar skills.
2. Becca – Hw3
Becca recently released this soothing love song and the music video soon followed. The track was produced by Okyeame Kofi and the music video features Becca and her love interest showering each other with love. Her vocals are on point as usual as she croons over the lovely tunes.
3. Jumabee – Jekinje ft Jesse Jagz
Jumabee collaborated with fellow superstar Jesse Jagz to release the music video for his latest smash hit, Jekinje. The music video was shot by Cardoso Imagery at The Place, Ikeja GRA. It feature cameo appearances by Monica Ogah, Sleeq and Bangin
4. AKA – Composure
The Super Mega released the visuals for his highly controversial single, Composure. The rapper addresses various issues in the song, yet he decided to keep the music video quite clean.
5. Burna Boy – Follow Me
The ‘Original Nigerian Don Gordon’ releases the music video for his killer single ‘Follow Me’. The video was shot in his hometown of Port Harcourt in Nigeria and it features visuals from around the city as he drops his captivating lyrics.

The first annual South Africa Meets Africa (SMA) concert will be taking place on Saturday 24th October 2015 at the Expo Centre, Nasrec in Johannesburg. The concert will be in honour of Nigeria’s independence day and will emphasis the importance of celebrating African unity.
