The 13th annual London African Music Festival

This year marks the 13th year of the annual London African Music Festival, it will run for ten days and will be happening at seven different locations all over London. The show which is produced by Joyful Noise founder, Biyi Adepegba, aims to showcase the awesome, electrifying and innovative sounds that originate from various countries all over Africa. Having been around for thirteen years, the festival is known for bringing together some of the world’s greatest fresh talents as well as some musical legends in a wondrous celebration of African music and tradition.

This year will be no different as there will multiple artists performing all over London throughout the ten days. Some of the incredible artists who will be performing at the festival include Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 (Nigeria), the legendary Ebo Taylor (Ghana), Aar Maanta (Somalia) and the London Afrobeat Collective (UK/Nigeria).

The festival promises to be a jam packed event, celebrating what has Joyful Noise refers to as “the essential music from a vibrant continent”.
