Reinhard Tega ft Koker, Loose Kaynon & Classiq - "Mr Ayinde"
Nigerian hit maker Reinhard Tega releases his debut single; 'Mr. Ayinde'. Headlined by himself,the mid tempo single features Koker, Classiq and Loose Kaynon. Mr. Ayinde's story about drive and eventual success is much needed in today’s heavily entitled music scene with an unmistakably Hip-Hop sound built on a trap foundation and kept afloat with hypnotic echoes that sound like the beat box of urban music royalty. Reinhard has work on production for a nice mix of African acts including MI Abaga,Koker, Ill Bliss, Wiz Kid, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince and Victoria Kimani.

Drew Moyo - "Vimbuza"
Norway based Malawian Dance/Electronic act; Drew Moyo teams up with Beating Heart; the World's largest archive of Africa's field recordings- on his new body of work 'Vimbuza'.One of the tracks off 'Chingoma' which was sampled after an archival field recording is a favourite of the artist and he explains that 'Chingoma' is a drum played specifically by the Tonga people in a part of Malawi when they gather for the Spiritual ritual of the Vimbuza dance. The proceeds from Vimbuza will be used to support the Women's Legal Centre in Cape Town and Jo'burg and the AMP music school in Grahamstown where equipment will be donated and a Beating Heart remix module would be developed where students can learn how to remix music from the archive, learning about their heritage in the process. Now that's music for a cause!
