Steady! If you’ve got a crew, then Y’all need to be the balance for each other. Pappy Kojo brings out Joey B and Nshonamuzik for ‘Balance’, his first release of the year and the first off his upcoming EP Logos II.

The video is all calm swag, consistent with what we’ve come to expect, not just from Pappy Kojo but from every link-up between the Van Damme and Joey B aka Darryl and to top it off, this time, Nshonamuzik brings a little bit more spice!

… and now, with his first project, he takes the bigger steps to cement his place in SA hip-hop as a solo artist.

You may have heard your soon to be fav, uSanele on Okamalumkoolkat’s Tongue Foo Action / Forever (Petite Noir’s Interlude) along side Sho Madjozi & Bra Sol, or better yet on every Boyznbucks track. This time we hear him in his own territory ‘Gangular‘.

The EP kicks off with a groovy mellow & traditionally influenced flow on Bekezela which features Bongeziwe Mabandla, and ends with a gqom joint Bhansela which features Thelawayeka.

The project also features Stilo Magolide, Efeflow, 45 Degrees and Windows 2000.

The West Awakens!Keeping their momentum from 2018, Loose Kaynon. A-Q, M.I Abaga & Blaqbonez, collectively now also known as L.A.M.B, have everyone talking.

Releasing The Martell Cypher, a video directed by M.I Abaga and audio produced by Beats by Jayy, all four rappers laid their all out. This follows their multiple album releases last year that created a huge and necessary conversation on the hip-hop culture in Nigeria.

Does SA rap have some REAL competition? You’ve gotta watch it to make your conclusion.

When it’s nice you do it twice!

Even if it’s about 5 years after. Kicking off his 2019 with hard-hitting freestyle bars, Senegalese rapper Elzo Jamdong, shares Free Season 2.

If you’ve never been swept off your feet by flows in Wolof, today is the day. If you have, then you’ll know clicking below is the only decision to make.
