South Africa certainly kills house music this side of the globe! The folks at House Afrika are steady with the quality volumes of not just Mzansi house but a variety of genres, however, today the spotlight is on FKA Mash, Sean Munnick, Pierre Johnson, Four7 & Brewed Souls.

With at least 4 songs each, these South African house music heads make up a 34 track project for which you won’t be needing the skip button.

Also featuring in the project is Samthing Soweto, The Lazarusman, Tahir Jones & more.

When the music hits, will you dance?

Dj Lambo and friends want to know if this hits you the right way! To influence your response, they’ve made a video for it!

Just before you dive in, let’s tell you that it HITs! Mr Real and Small Doctor don’t disappoint and neither does ‘The Myth’ who directed the visuals.

The energy is check!
The moves!
The colours and the vibes are all right and they HIT the right way!

Calling all the players…As far as Blaqbonez is concerned, if you’re a player, today is the day you meet your match and he’s all set to go trick for trick till he gets what he wants.  The Nigerian new wave of talent shares his first single under new hip-hop label 100 crowns.

Produced by Tempoe, this vibe is for the ride with the gang or the ginger you give yourself in front of your mirror just before the fam drives by to pick you up. Either way, you get ready not to get played this weekend or ever!

Jaywon – “Saro” Lyric Video

Hits and Lyrics! yep.

When it’s a fan favourite, you know you’ve gotta make it easier for us all to sing along.

With the help of David Graphic, the singer Jaywon shares an animated lyric visual following the official release of the broken-hearted love single ‘Saro’.

Warm for the winter days ahead? With singles like Qeqe already spreading love to warm up the hearts, the afro-soul singer Nathi now with Gallo Records, finally shares the full body of work ‘Iphupha Labantu

Nathi delivers soul, depth, groove and so much more in this 10 tracked album and you have got to get some of it, so make it your weekend special and then every day after that.

Ckay – Container

Container is bae!A crash course for context; in Nigeria when your container (referring to a shipping container) lands, money has arrived because logically speaking the container docking at the port contains the equivalent of loads of money and since cash is bae, container is without thought, bae.

Directed by The Myth, the visuals for container show Ckay in his natural state; controlling the money with swag, supported by sleek street savvy moves!

From the North with a blessed groove! One of the beautiful things about African music is that all of its vast genres of music (most still unknown/incomprehensible to the commercial folks)  have one thing in common; the GROOVE!

Rapper Classiq beautifully fuses traditional Hausa sounds from the northern region of Nigeria which have very islandic feels to it with his smooth lyrical delivery in Gargajiya.

J Molley  – “Dreams Money Can Buy”

The kids are putting in the work!

Using tracks from his debut album ‘Dreams Money Can BuyJ Molley self-directs, edits and grades a short film for your visual awe and pleasure.
