New to the Africori family and building up to the release of his mix-tape 'MACINA' on pre-order from Friday the 22nd of June, it seemed only right that we all get a little familiar with the Senegalese-born, France-based talent; Elzo Jamdong. Responding to a few questions posed by Titilope Adesanya, Elzo lets us in on his ambitious goals, love for JLo, the music scene in Senegal and self drive to greatness!

Some may get to 10, 20 or maybe 30, not many get to their 67th Album at the age of 65! Legendary African Act; Oliver 'Tuku' Mtukudzi stuns us all with another fresh body of work; 'Hany’ga' which means Concern when translated to English. With his very rich and  thrilling vocals, Dr Mtukudzi brings to life sounds that can only be described as animating, with beautiful instrumentals; outstanding string work and soothing backing vocals all blended to showcase a rich African musical delivery. This maestro has poured his heart out in words and music with the assistance of the various musicians who came into the studio and contribute musically to the final collection of songs we now have and call Hany’ga “Concern” in English.

En voici une autre pour les dames à la peau brune. Le groupe Sauti Sol, joyau de l'Afrique de l'Est, fait équipe avec le groupe nigérian primé Patoranking dans "Melanin". Les paroles célèbrent les hauts et les bas de l'amour et les belles reines remplies de toute la mélanine qu'il y a ! Le mélange mélodique de la prestation de Patoranking avec le chant inégalé du groupe primé d'Afrique de l'Est.

Dans le film "Boo2", qui vient de sortir, Silvastone, l'acteur afrobeat britannique, partage "Full Moon Tonight" avec l'auteur-compositeur-interprète, l'actrice et l'auteur Kelli Wakili. Full Moon Tonight est la bande sonore officielle du film sur le thème d'Halloween.
