Third is a charm, and this one is right on the mark. Keeping to their mandate for most of the year, Kenya's #1 band Sauti Sol teams up with the Soke crooner and boundary breaker; Burna Boy for what is fast becoming another anthem in celebration of the Afrikan woman. Taken also off their incoming LP 'Afrikan Sauce' due at the end of the year, 'Afrikan Star' is a melodic love song that takes its glorious rhythm from careful string work of Fancy Fingers and the mellow heartwarming vocals of the band and Burna Boy. We wouldn't be finishing this African Love story right if we didn't tell you that the visual are made for your eyes with cozy dark rooms, harmonizing men and sexy melanin reading women.

The meet up. The night out. This playlist is for that!!! Featuring some of Africa's finest, M.I Abaga curates an ultimate playlist for a night out in the fast paced up class part of Lagos ; Lekki.  Taking you through a journey that starts after a long day on the grind, the chill at the crib, the link up with the crew, the pre-turn up, the real vibe, the turn up, the decline and then the morning! Rendezvous is the African Hiphop lenegd's 7th body of work; featuring tracks recorded over various timelines and cities with an example of 'On Code' ft. AKA being recorded in 2016 or even further back, 'Kososhi' ft. Wande Coal who laid down his part in 2014. M.I Abaga is famous for hoarding songs and finally we get to listen to some of it. The 15 tracked 'playlist' features Falz, Ajebutter and Odunsi in what seems to be a fan favorite 'Lekki' if reactions since the live stream listening session and the release at midnight is anything to go by. It also features South Africa's very own fill Up master; Cassper Nyovest in 'Soup', Moelogo in 'One Way', Dice Ailes in 'Your Father' , CKay and Joules Da Kid in 'Wats D Level', Nonso Amadi in 'Playlist', Yung l, U.a.X in 'The Crew', Terry Apala in 'Jiggy', Santi and Tomi Thomas in 'Jungle' amongst a few more. Some production credits to Nonso Amadi, Chopstix, CKay, Chillz, TMXO, Higo, Odunsi The Engine, and G-Plus This playlist leads up to his forth coming studio album 'Yxng Dxnzl' which is scheduled for release in May this year.

Positivity, love and good vibes. That seems to Sean Tizzle's MO for the year and we are all for it!After a successful 2017- which saw the release of his EP 'Moving Forward Vol. 1' featuring Davido, Dax Mpire and Iceberg Slim. Sean closed off 2017 with two absolutely epic singles; Wasted and Kpro Kpro - Sean Tizzle and Blaq Jerzee's studio chemistry is well and alive! "Best For You" is beautifully musically mixed, there is of course the classic afrobeats with just enough dance element to open it up to a larger audience with varying tastes. Already off to a great start with a world premiere yesterday on Trans Africa Radio's late evening show 'The Re Up' to very positive feedback,  Best For You is one for your playlists, personal and otherwise.

Après un peu plus de deux ans de tournée avec son premier album Trading Change, le groupe sud-africain de musique folk et alternative Jeremy Loops, primé à plusieurs reprises, partage enfin sa nouvelle musique. 
Lors de la toute première écoute d'un nouveau morceau à venir, Jeremy partage le voyage qui l'a mené à "Waves" et explique comment le single a été un tournant dans son processus d'écriture en vue de son deuxième album prévu pour 2018. Accompagné de visuels qui ne peuvent être tenus pour responsables de vous donner FOMO vacances, Waves est un beau morceau d'été avec un crochet rempli de sifflets qui reste avec vous après la première écoute. Un ver d'oreille garanti.

Le rappeur nigérian MI Abaga fait équipe avec Dice Ailes dans son dernier single "Your Father". Produit par C Kay, le titre est audacieux dans ses paroles et MI réitère une fois de plus sa place dans la scène hip-hop nigériane comme étant celle qu'il faut admirer et celle qu'il faut respecter.
Ce n'est probablement pas une bonne idée de l'envoyer à votre père. Mais il est certain qu'il y a une bonne ambiance avec votre gang !
