It’s been almost two months on pre-order/ pre-save on various platforms and Jeremy Loops has teased us with his sophomore body of work, releasing singles like ‘Waves’ ‘The Shore’ ft. Motheo Moleko, and ‘Freak’.
It is obvious that so much heart, planning, passion and risk has gone into this project. If you are familiar with Jeremy Loops, you’ll know he’s mostly all happy, flowery and optimistic. In this album, he explores other emotions in depth in addition to the familiar and loved sound we are used to, giving the album a little more colour -not all bright- but all real and beautiful.

Zambian group ‘Clique Viral‘ is here to set the tone going forward. ‘Makanja‘ their latest single is a blend of tradtional Zambia feels with hip hop and some urban sounds. Makanja would appear to be of chewa origin and refers the tallest traditional dancer from the eastern part of Zambia.
In this release, the group, supported by Theresa MG’AMBI have used ‘Makanja’ to mean; No matter how high you
go or raise your standard, bar, caliber or levels you will still be below their eye level.
