Gemini Major – “Loke Loke” (ft. ANATII)
After stealing some time away himself, Gemini Major returns with an afrobeats-infused release featuring ANATII titled ‘Loke Loke’. Masterkraft put his recognisable signature on the production side of things.
Navy Kenzo – “Story of the African Mob” Tanzanian power couple and all-round dynamic music duo, Navy Kenzo release its second album, ‘Story of the African Mob’. This highly-anticipated album features collaborations with some of the continent’s biggest stars including, Nandy, King Promise, MzVee and more.
Kwesta & K1 Jaxe – “Dreams”
At the beginning of the lockdown in March, Kwesta was trying to find new ways to connect with fans. He eventually teamed up with Jameson to launch Rap A Verse – a campaign that gives emerging artists an opportunity in the spotlight. Out of the thousands of entrants, K1 Jaxe became the victor.
The product of this platform is the aptly titled ‘Dreams‘.
Mink’s – “Cam No Go” (ft. Magasco)
Whenever Mink’s and Magasco get together on a track it is always guaranteed to be one solid and quality tune. ‘Cam No Go‘ is exactly that – a sentimental single about remaining grounded despite the heights of success they continue to rise to.
Shinde – “Do It For Me”
Shinde‘s new offering, ‘Do It For Me‘, is an uplifting musical prayer where she pleas with God to provide the blessings that He has given to others.
YoursTruly – “Closure”
YoursTruly‘s sound is strongly rooted in neo-soul and jazz. The young producer has been quite busy and this has manifested in his second EP for 2020, ‘Closure‘. This is beatmaker’s second EP of the year and is a display of his consistency to his craft.
Madala Kunene – “Bafo: The Mentor – The Forest Jam Sessions Vol. 3”
‘Bafo: The Mentor – The Forest Jam Sessions Vol. 3‘ is a jazz record with studio sessions that spanned four years. During this period, legendary guitarist Madala Kunene collaborated with young talents from across Southern Africa and Switzerland.
The 11-track album is the first of three and is dedicated to Kunene’s dear friend, Matthias Abächerli.
GUC – “Knowing You”
GUC carries through a deeply spiritual experience on the live rendition of ‘Knowing You‘.
Bongi Mvuyana – “6AM (Karyendasoul Remix)” (ft. Pedro da Silva Pinto)”
Following the digital release of her debut album, ‘Dopamine‘ in May 2020, Bongi Mvuyana gives an update to one of the deep cuts from it. ‘6AM‘ features Pedro da Silva Pinto of 340ml fame and was reworked by Karyendasoul

Patty Monroe continues to explore her wide-ranging inclination for music on ‘Confirm‘. This joint revolves around the validation of a relationship status as portrayed by Patty and Rafaelo‘s interaction.
Efe celebrates the beauty of Africa and African women in the official ‘Africana’ music video. This number is taken from his current EP, ‘NONSTOP‘.
EASY FREAK has begun carving a new music direction for itself during the lockdown. The product of this will the duo’s forthcoming EP, ‘More Love’. In anticipation of it, the Durbanites tease fans with a single from it called, ‘Show You Off’.

PatricKxxLee put the final touches on his fourth full-length body of work in four years, ‘Eternity‘. The record is slated for the 18th of September 2020 and consists of an expansive 17 cuts which blend trap and rock influences.
The countdown to the album’s full drop almost draws to an end as he unveils ‘Purgatory‘.
