Third is a charm, and this one is right on the mark. Keeping to their mandate for most of the year, Kenya's #1 band Sauti Sol teams up with the Soke crooner and boundary breaker; Burna Boy for what is fast becoming another anthem in celebration of the Afrikan woman. Taken also off their incoming LP 'Afrikan Sauce' due at the end of the year, 'Afrikan Star' is a melodic love song that takes its glorious rhythm from careful string work of Fancy Fingers and the mellow heartwarming vocals of the band and Burna Boy.
