NewMusicAfrica – Jux, Beating Heart SA, Blayze, Makizar ft Emtee, Ntando, Blackface, Eegun, Ruby Gyang & Nini

Various Artists – “Beating Heart SA. Vol. 3”

Featuring Daev MartianThrowing ShadeHunrosa and Thor Rixon, each with their version of a field recording from South Africa.

The 3rd volume of Beating Heart South Africa is a 4-tracked EP following previous releases under The Beating Heart Project which saw features from House Music household names like Auntie FloSNØW Busy Twist amongst others.

The entire profits from the EP will be used to support the Women’s Legal Centre in Cape Town and Johannesburg and the AMP music school in Grahamstown.

Releasing the visuals to the very catchy single; ‘London Tin‘, Eegun is certainly on a roll.
Directed by Jay Money, the video was shot in the streets of London and is a version of a modern day love story.


Blayze – “Amen”

Following his killer joint with AKA, Hip-Hop act Blayze is all set with another, and this he calls ‘Amen’ which is indeed a sequel or better still, an answer to ‘Get The Bag’.

So today Blayze says ‘Amen’ to a small prayer to ‘Get The Bag’


Building up to his album ‘Mayibuye’, Ntando releases the visuals to ‘Dali’ one of the singles off the album.

Dali is set around a wedding in which Ntando performs at. Pouring out his heart supported by his joyous vocals.


In keeping with his incredible MO to deliver visuals that never leave fans wanting. Tanzania’s romantic; Jux releases brand new visuals.
Shot in Asia, Utaniua is a must watch! with just about 160k views in less than a day since release. 

Makizar Ft Emtee – “Hamma, Hamma, Hamma”

Rapping predominatly in Pidgin, hence his alias ‘Pidgin Trap god’, Cameroonian born and South African based Trap act ‘Makizar‘ teams up with Emtee in his latest single ‘Hamma, Hamma, Hamma‘.

Creatively hinting in the cover art that you need to be on the look out for his up coming album! In the mean time, take a listen and share with the squad!
