Third is a charm, and this one is right on the mark. Keeping to their mandate for most of the year, Kenya's #1 band Sauti Sol teams up with the Soke crooner and boundary breaker; Burna Boy for what is fast becoming another anthem in celebration of the Afrikan woman. Taken also off their incoming LP 'Afrikan Sauce' due at the end of the year, 'Afrikan Star' is a melodic love song that takes its glorious rhythm from careful string work of Fancy Fingers and the mellow heartwarming vocals of the band and Burna Boy. We wouldn't be finishing this African Love story right if we didn't tell you that the visual are made for your eyes with cozy dark rooms, harmonizing men and sexy melanin reading women.

Featuring some of Africa's finest, M.I Abaga curates an ultimate playlist for a night out in the fast paced up class part of Lagos ; Lekki.  Taking you through a journey that starts after a long day on the grind, the chill at the crib, the link up with the crew, the pre-turn up, the real vibe, the turn up, the decline and then the morning! Rendezvous is the African Hiphop lenegd's 7th body of work; featuring tracks recorded over various timelines and cities with an example of 'On Code' ft. AKA being recorded in 2016 or even further back, 'Kososhi' ft. Wande Coal who laid down his part in 2014. M.I Abaga is famous for hoarding songs and finally we get to listen to some of it. The 15 tracked 'playlist' features Falz, Ajebutter and Odunsi in what seems to be a fan favorite 'Lekki' if reactions since the live stream listening session and the release at midnight is anything to go by. Legendary African Act; Oliver 'Tuku' Mtukudzi stuns us all with another fresh body of work; 'Hany’ga' which means Concern when translated to English. With his very rich and  thrilling vocals, Dr Mtukudzi brings to life sounds that can only be described as animating, with beautiful instrumentals; outstanding string work and soothing backing vocals all blended to showcase a rich African musical delivery. This maestro has poured his heart out in words and music with the assistance of the various musicians who came into the studio and contribute musically to the final collection of songs we now have and call Hany’ga “Concern” in English.
