Africori wins Unilever GoGlobal startup competition

We’re proud to announce that Africori has been selected as a winner of the Unilever GoGlobal initiative. The program aims to partner innovative digital companies which are ready for international expansion with seven of Unilever’s flagship brands. Over 400 digital startups entered the competition, pitching for the investment with potential new projects, with a selection of finalists travelling to Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona to present to executives and potential investors. After much deliberation, Africori’s campaign to use our direct-to-consumer mobile music store, Tavoom, in a survey-based track redemption scheme in collaboration with Sunlight was selected as the most viable.
