EASY FREAK began carving a new music direction for itself during the lockdown. The product of this will the duo’s EP, ‘More Love’.

The mini-album was put together while the pair were home-bound and is an exploration of their Jude and Dom’s musicality.

Sir Winz – “Panthere” (ft. Salatiel) 

Cameroonian star, Sir Winz, tackles a host of social topics on his vibrant Afropop single ‘Panthere’. The term is local slang for women who use their assets to gain favours while also address the undertones of colourism often attached to the subject. The song features Salatiel.

The Masekela All-Stars – “Thula Mina – The People’s Version”
 The late Bra Hugh Masekela’s ‘Thuma Mina (Send Me)’ is a song that was used for a political campaign by now president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa. The song, which stems from a popular church chorus, highlights themes of individual responsibility as a force for group change. The challenges brought about by COVID-19 elevate the subject of the song. Hence, this icon song is covered by an all-star troupe of musicians as an anthem to mobilise people into action.
