Third is a charm, and this one is right on the mark.

Keeping to their mandate for most of the year, Kenya’s #1 band Sauti Sol teams up with the Soke crooner and boundary breaker; Burna Boy for what is fast becoming another anthem in celebration of the Afrikan woman.

Taken also off their incoming LP ‘Afrikan Sauce’ due at the end of the year, ‘Afrikan Star‘ is a melodic love song that takes its glorious rhythm from careful string work of Fancy Fingers and the mellow heartwarming vocals of the band and Burna Boy.

We wouldn’t be finishing this African Love story right if we didn’t tell you that the visual are made for your eyes with cozy dark rooms, harmonizing men and sexy melanin reading women.

And just like that, with this, Yung Swiss is ready for 2018.Teaming up with K.O for yet another one for the replay button. The trippy vibes and dark Halloween theme of this song is aptly represented in the visuals for ‘Psychedelia‘ which for now is exclusive to Apple Music on both video and audio for a week with a full release on every other store next week.

If like most of us, you are just getting into the rhythm of 2018, this has to be your theme song! If you already have your groove on, then all the more reason to dance! Which is just what Chocolate City’s queen vocalist from the North of Nigeria, Ruby Gyang is asking of you in her latest single ‘Oya Dance‘ with it’s very catchy hook that is sure to become an ear worm in no time.

The dance influenced, folk like rhythmic flow is all sorts of positive vibes only and the calming melody of the strings are key to feeling the energy of the song which beckons you to seize the moment and live in the present!

If the visuals of her previous single ‘Kale Ni’ is anything to go by, we can’t wait to see the glory of this. For now, DANCE!

Jazzy, soul, mellow and melodious moods are where you are headed once you press play.

After weeks of a cross continent radio promo while on pre-order, South African bong songstress Serati finally launches a full release of her debut single ‘Why Do You Tempt Me‘ since being singed to Tanzanian based Pan-African label  Panamusiq.

With an incredible list of production credits, South African production crew; Ganja Beatz team up with lyrically amazing Cape Town based rapper YoungstaCPT and new school trap sensation J Molley in ‘Y? U Lie’

If Molley’s melodious hook doesn’t get you going then YoungstaCPT’s rhymes are bound to have you hitting repeat and maybe ‘licking shampoo off your shower cap’.

Certainly more jazzy than you might have thought, South African rapper Bigstar is showing his colours in ‘Time Of My Life‘ and it’s only beginning.

It’s the Time Of his Life and we are sharing the chilled vibes of celebration on this super mellow melodious track.

Zambian Born rapper and producer PatrickxxLee lets go of songs he believes you absolutely need to hear, and on this we agree with him!

The 9 tracked body of work is true to the artist we’ve come to know PatrickxxLee as; not only is the production depth reaching, the writing is drawing and demanding that you listen and question and then ultimately converse.

‘Dead By Dawn The Old Me Is Gone’ is perfect to start his musical year with as he’s beginning so many new chapters including representing South Africa at the Hong Kong edition of international festival ‘Sónar’.

A few of NIgeria’s most talented and influential acts have joined forces and resources in support of a noble cause. At no better time than now, with the less than ideal climate in Nigeria and indeed the world- politically, religiously, economically and otherwise- this song is one of hope and drive!

Produced by Masterkraft, ‘Shine The Light’ features some of the most respected inspirational acts in Nigeria; Mario, Tim Godfrey, Nosa, Tosin Martins, Bunmi George, Dare Justified, Ige & Sussie and preaches the one thing that cannot be overstated; change starts with you.

The visuals feature some top Nigerian musicians and actors including Waje, Banky W, Ini Edo, Ali Baba, Joke Silva, Chidinma, and many others.
