Franck Biyong – Moon Watching
Cameroonian guitarist and founder of the Afrolectric sound, Franck Biyong explores electronica and dubstep in new album “Moon Watching”. The alternative rock album is packed with fascinating electronic sounds as he showcases his phenomenal guitar skills. Lead single “End of the Road”explores the futuristic theme that flows throughout the album.
Lungiswa Plaatjies – Ndiyahamba
Traditional Zulu songstress Lungiswa Plaatjies returns with “Ndiyahamba”, her 4th album and one which fuses her familiar mbira sound with deep house elements. The album was co-produced by DJ Monks and features Madosini Latozi Mpahlani and DJ Makhekhe as Lungiswa explores a new and evolved sound.
Sola Allyson Obaniyi – Ope
One of Nigeria’s most prominent Yoruba singers, Sola Allyson Obayinipresents her latest inspirational album titled “Ope”. With exceptional production on this uplifting and inspirational release, it’s looking like some of Sola’s best material to date.
Sean Tizzle – Jalolo
Nigerian superstar Sean Tizzle has once again teamed up with uber talented producer, Blaq Jerzee, to create his latest single – the Afro hip-hop roller “Jalolo”. Sean had a hugely successful 2015 and he looks set to reach even greater heights in 2016, with a new album on the way in March.
