Elzo Jamdong – “RAW Freestyle”
Elzo Jamdong shows that he will never shy away from any challenge that is presented before him. Such is the case with the ‘Raw Freestyle’, a concept that came into fruition from Jetlife Paris‘ JLM Session.
The MisterThiere-produced drill joint was recorded in 30 minutes.
Nviiri the Storyteller – “BAR” (ft. Femi One)
Nviiri the Storyteller teams up with Femi One for the second time in just little over a month. This time around Nviiri takes the lead on ‘BAR‘.
The song is about a guy who proactively wants to take his relationship with his girl to the next level by seeking approval from her father.
Mapara A Jazz – “John Vuli Gate”
Hitmakers, Mapara A Jazz, capitalise on the viral success of their smash hit ‘John Vuli Gate‘ with a 15-track album of the same name.
Afrikan Roots – “Dawn of the 8th Day”
Afro-house trio, Afrikan Roots present a 12-track afro-house album titled ‘Dawn of the 8th Day‘. The album features a bevy of collaborators including Moelogo, Andy Boi, Mpumi, Candy Tsamandebele and more.

Dan Duminy is no stranger to switching up lanes. The 19-year-old put a pause on his racing career to launch his music. ‘Paradise‘ is his second official single. It is also set to be part of his upcoming EP.

Yallunder has had an exciting two weeks. First she dropped her debut music video, ‘Ndinovalo‘. Now the songstress ticks off another great milestone as she unveils her first solo EP, ‘Uthando Lwam‘.
19-year-old Durbanite, Blxckie is fast gaining a great reputation for himself in the rap game. His recent move to Johannesburg shows that he means business. ‘The Big Time Shlappa‘ alongside LucasRaps shows his readiness to plunge in and make his voice be heard.
Gemini Major – “Slum Kid”
Super producer, Gemini Major is a cornerstone in South Africa’s hip hop scene. This is clearly evident via the list of collaborators on his new EP, ‘Slum Kid‘, which drops on 27th November. Ahead of its release, Gemini provides ‘Action Figure‘ (ft. AKA) as promo track.
Beat Sampras – “Note to Self”
A recommendation for self-care.
Cape Town-based duo Beat Sampras set a reminder to take a pause in these uncertain times on ‘Note to Self‘. The EP manoeuvres as a personal conversation that is rooted in soulful melodic sonics exemplified by the first promo track ‘Don’t Look Back‘.
