TNS – “Uzongilinga” ft. Fey

Within a space of a year, TNS has become a household name in South Africa with back-to-back hits with Prince Kaybee (‘Club Controller’, ‘Banomoya’) as well as his last single ‘My Dali’ making waves right now.

Well, this young KZN-born self-taught producer is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon as he follows suit with another catchy afro-house track – ‘Uzongilinga‘ ft. Fey.

Sway to the groove.

One-half of afro swing outfit NewAgeMuzik – K4mo releases his self-titled EP that draws influences from his time in Nigeria.

The 3-tracked project is suitable for easy listening draped with melodies delivered in his unique gruff voice.

Silvastone has been streaming out the good ol’ tunes from his ever so superb ‘Affirmation’ EP. Now he brings us the new visuals for the most popular song off the project, ‘Move Body‘.
The release of the video also comes a call out from the star asking for young producers to put their best beat forward with the #MoveBodyRemixChallenge.

From the moment Team Mosha broke into the scene they have always brought party music that pulsated through the streets with much rave.

On their latest single, ‘Phuza Kahle‘, Mamelodi’s mighty twosome take on the subject of partying responsibly. The song features fellow Tshwane musicians Junior Taurus and Blaklez.

Mx Blouse takes a simpler approach for their ‘Ukufa‘ visuals. ‘Ukufa’ meaning to die in isiZulu was written during a period where Blouse was very sickly.

A gift of unconditional love.

Mich Straawhad quite a challenge this May as it was Mother’s Day two weeks ago and his mum celebrates her birthday on 25 May. Why not present her with the gift of music to celebrate her life with ‘255‘.

Straaw has been hinting at this labour of love for a month with selected tracks. This body of work spans across a multitude of genres from R&B to hip-hop and even country.

Shake it! Dip It! Twist It!

El Maestro and TP are calling everyone to the dancefloor for this party-starting banger called ‘Bum Bum (Original Mix)‘.

The song is an amalgamation of genres, borrowing influences from ragga, afrobeats and amapiano. It would be hard not to move from the first beat.

Let the good times roll.
Gemini Major takes us back in time with the new video for his fun G-funk track ‘Issa Vibe’ featuring Tellaman. Filmed on the now iconic Pretville set, the video is nothing short of colourful.

Building an empire.
Sat-B enlists all his friends from Empire Avenue for the rhythmically beautiful ‘50-100 (Amabuno)‘.

Make music, not war.

This is the message that Gaba Cannal  & Dladla Mshunqisi bring forth with ‘iGama‘.

The single is firmly rooted from a heated debate on which genre will dominate the summer, amapiano or gqom? The solution is both. Hence, ‘iGama’.

As we counted down to the launch of their sophomore album ‘No Lies‘, we also shared a brilliant conversation with the ever swagged out South African pop pair, Easy Freak.
What we found were complementary rich characters and talents in Jude and Dom.

In this episode of ‘Level Up‘, Easy Freak lets us in on some of their wildest aspirations, the amount of work they put into the album and not forgetting the wackiness of it all during the process.
