A musical culture melting pot!Senegalese singer Aida Sock‘s latest single “Sebalite”, sees a fusion of some of the finest cultural minds, with Ugandan producer Baddest Kanmba working with Mali’s Diango Diabate – who played the cords on the Xalam (a traditional guitar), to produce the cross border groovy vibe of the single.
Shot by a young Senegalese Director Mo Shady, the video was co-directed by Aida, allowing her the creative space to share personal moments of her life through different codes and images.
Her message? Whatever happens, no matter how hard it gets, patience is key as tomorrow always comes.
