Lesedi The DJ joins forces with fellow Pretorian musicians Bludbunz, Douushii and producer, Jordan Klem on Get High. The single is a laid-back tune driven by booming 808s. On Get High, Douushii raps about how the great green herb works its magic for his creative process. On the second verse, BLUDBUNZ shows off some scorching hot rhymes and flows while talking about being the source of the bounce.

Producer, DJ Kabila takes to the streets of Durban for the official video for his single Suka. The song has been sampled on dance floors locally and abroad. Suka features contributions from 104 BPM and South Africa music veteran, Madala Kunene.
Speaking of the message of the song, DJ Kabila stated that the song is about removing oneself from negative energies to focus on your goals.

Rising afro-pop star, Bukeka enters the scene with Imimoya. Bukeka merges the words of afro-soul and house music on this tune centred around spiritual warfare. Speaking about the thought processing in writing the song, Bukeka said:
We often fight battles and challenges which we are faces in a daily basis but because of the faith we have, we continue to win and survive this cruel World. Bukeka has always sang in a spiritual tune as she is a strong believer of Nature and God.

Johannesburg-based singer-songwriter, Sio, provides a teaser of her upcoming album Torn Tapestries by dropping a new single titled Gaslight (Caught Fire). The R&B-leaning project consists of 11 tracks. Sio describes the writing process as “[penning] my tears in song,” as she a means of dealing with heartbreak.
Torn Tapestries is due out on 19 August 2022.
