It has been a little over a year since Hunter Rose, dropped her well-received EP, Love and Trust. The Cape Town-based singer & songwriter returns with a feel-good mellow groove titled, Get It. The single is her first under her very own label. On Get It, Rose teams up with past collaborator Clap Cotton.

SLM Libende Boyz is solidifying its reputation as a musical force to watch. Following the release of its mini-album, Motivé, the quintet rope in the legendary Koffi Olamidé on the jubilant Celebrate.
Rexxie – “Frenemies ” (ft. Oxlade)
In late Jun 2021, Rexxie unveiled his long-awaited album A True Champion. This body of work was by no means deficient in star collaborations. One of which is Frenemies, alongside Oxlade – for which Rexxie drops the video.
Nolo – “Ke Rata Wena”
In 2019, Nolo amassed his fanbase via weekly performances for the 15th crown of Idols SA. His journey on the show was shortened when he finished fourth. He is still living the dream of making music as evident through his sophomore single Ke Rata Wena.
Ntosh Gazi – “Amnandi Amapiano EP”
Ntosh Gazi has been on an upward trajectory over the past year. The amapiano vocalist rose to prominence in late 2020 as one of the voices behind the monster hit John Vuli Gate. Taking things in his stride, he takes the lead on Amnandi Amapiano EP.
CIZA – “Carolina 2.0” (ft. Major League DJz & Abidoza)
Fresh from being announced as an Apple Music Up Next inductee, CIZA indicates that he is not one to rest on his laurels. The 19-year-old muso joins forces with Major League DJz and Abidoza for a re-work of Carolina.
Chanda Mbao – “Luyando” (ft. Rich Bizzy)
Last week, Chanda Mbao released a track that spurred political agency in the lead-up to the then Zambian national elections. This week he presents Luyando – a love song on which he speaks out against tribalism. The song was produced by Shinko Beats.
Dunnie – “Mosafejo”
Amapiano is reaching ears far and wide. Many artists draw influence from this genre, and Dunnie is the latest addition to the growing list. On Mosafejo, the afro-fusion sensation sings about the return to love after searching for it everywhere but closer to home.
The star is set to premiere the official music video tonight at 18:00 WAT.
DJ LeSoul – “Higher Frequencies”
Amabele hitmaker DJ LeSoul readies the release of her upcoming album Higher Frequencies. The body of work features collaborations with an interesting array of musicians from Khaya Mthethwa to Nduduzo Makhathini.
Higher Frequencies is due out for release on 24 September 2021.
SculpturedMusic – “The Music Odyssey”
Beloved deep-house DJ, SculpturedMusic continues the mammoth rollout for his fourth studio album, The Music Odyssey. The 13-track album is a pure masterclass of the deep house’s heritage.
While fans will have to hold on until 3 September for the total Music Odyssey experience – the producer, in the meantime, drops a jam called A Family Thing.

The Parlotones frontman, Kahn Morbee, is geared up to present his third solo album, A Word at Suicide, on 23 September 2021. The project is preceded by the lead single All the Beauty.
