Nviiri the Storyteller – “Falling” (ft. KiDi)
Nviiri the Storyteller has made his mark in the past for his string of love songs. The Kenyan singer-songwriter enlists Ghanaian superstar, KiDi, for his latest offering Falling. The track is inspired by the awakening of a burgeoning romance.
Limpopo’s dancing monarch’s, Makhadzi, music will remain a fixture on dancefloors. It is evident in her fourth studio release, African Queen. The 21-track record shines bright with star power including, appearances from Kabza de Small, Lady Du, Cassper Nyovest and more.
SculpturedMusic – “The Music Odyssey”
Beloved deep-house DJ, SculpturedMusic finally unveils his labour of love, The Music Odyssey. The 13-track album is a pure masterclass of the deep house’s heritage.
Fka Mash launches PRJKT-5. As the title suggests this is the fifth instalment of the anthology. The three-piece EP is yet another addition to his newly formed label September Bloom.
Kenyan rapper and singer Steph Kapela makes a welcome return with Pilka Pilka. The joint is set to a chant that elicits bodily movement. Pilka Pilka is an anthem for the dreamers and the hustlers that urges them to keep on pushing.
House producer and DJ, Echo Deep presents the second of two brand new tracks in two weeks. We Are One is afro-tech production that utilises an army of voices to bring forth a message of unity.
Tim Lyre – “Real”
Tim Lyre tales to the congested streets of Lagos, Nigeria for the official Real music video. The single is part of the build-up toward his forthcoming debut album, Worry <.

Record producer, Xplosive DJ, has something new to bop to. Co-lead by Maglera Doe Boy, Limbo (Pretty Little Thing) is a banger that draws influences from Afro-pop and trap.
Kagwe Mungai – “Mbogi Ya Madenge” (ft. Benzema)
Kagwe Mungai further explores his range of musical influences on Mbogi Ya Madenge. The self-produced track features Benzema. Mbogi Ya Madenge is a testament to Mungai’s versatility both as a singer and a producer.
George Lacosta & Shuffle Muzik – “Speed Limit” (ft. TK & Edgar the MC)
The festive season is nearly ripe. Along with the fun times comes some dangers too. Speed Limit is an amapiano thumper by George Lacosta and Shuffle Muzik that advocates for road safety. The track features TK & Edgar the MC.
Ben September – “Tired”
24-year-old R&B/neo-soul singer/songwriter, Ben September, pens an unsent musical letter depicting how drained he was following a fight with his partner. On Tired, September paints various would-be scenarios of where the relationship could go and the hurt that is being experienced.
DJ Mohamed x D2MZA – “Dom Pérignon Refill” (ft. DJ Sumbody, Cassper Nyovest, The Lowkeys & 3TWO1)
Pretoria-based DJ duo, DJ Mohamed x D2MZA go for another round on Dom Pérignon Refill. The Lowkeys and 3TWO1 reprise their contributions from the original release with Cassper Nyovest and DJ Sumbody providing additional vocals.
Chris Sen has been making moves in the South African dance scene for well over a decade. Today, the producer presents his concept EP, Deep Sleep. The mini-album was initiated at the beginning of lockdown. Each cut on the album is named after different forms of sleep.
Skillz – “Emazwen” (ft. Nkosazana & TNS)
Skillz teams up with Nkosazana and TNS on Emazwen. Set to a dance beat, the song tells the story of a migrant labourer who leaves her family behind for the city in order to put food on the table.
Cameroonian star, Awu revs up for his highly anticipated album, Sounds of Heritage. The body of work has been two years in the making. To kickstart the pre-order campaign, Awu unveils Mola. Sounds of Heritage will officially drop on 12 November 2021.
