Bensoul lights it up for his latest joint, ‘Sweet Sensi‘. The cut blends a jazzy intro by the Nairobi Horns Project with a solid reggae foundation for one laid-back experience. This is definitely a soulful high.

Mercy Chinwo – “SATISFIED”
Mercy Chinwo‘s sophomore album, ‘SATISFIED‘ has finally arrived. The Nigerian gospel mega-star announced the title of the 15-track project almost a month ago.  This body of work is overflowing with uplifting and spiritual gems including an explosive remix of her signature hit ‘Excess Love’, alongside JJ Hairston. Other collaborators on the album are Chioma Jesus and Youthful Praise.

Davaos – “Oh My Love – Remix” (ft. Eddy Kenzo)
 Zambian girl group, Davaos, teams up with Ugandan superstar, Eddy Kenzo, for a re-up of ‘Oh My Love‘. The offering is about devotion and falling ever so deeply in love.

 Last week, Captonian beatmaster, Ameen Harron presented his exclamatory single, ‘Y?NA [EINA]‘ with YoungstaCPT and Nadia Jaftha. Now the prolific producer pairs that off with the official visuals.

Robin Thirdfloor & Mark Akol – “Isomiso” 
Robin Thirdfloor has always been on a wavelength of his own and this is even more evident on his collaborative three-piece EP with Mark Akol, ‘Isomiso‘.

The effort is a result of a session at the Redbull Studios in 2018.

T Sleek- “London Girl” (ft. Straffitti and IllKeyz)
T Sleek brings on the dancehall heat on ‘London Girl’. Produced by IllKeyz the melodic track is accentuated by a booming bass.  Buzz artist, Straffitti also lends his vocals for a verse.

EL Mukuka & HVMZA – “Dame” (ft. Marocco)
 ‘Dame‘ is a care-free track about romance and was created in a late-night studio session in Berlin. El Mukuka was inspired by a trip to Spain, hence, the incorporation of Latin guitar riffs.

Like most of Mukuka’s music, this a cultural melting pot with contributions by HVMZA and Marocco.

Mx Blouse has put the finishing touches on their debut album ‘Elementality‘. On it, Blouse steers it more towards the dance lane rather than the kwaito-esque that they have previously experimented with.

China Charmeleon – “Tell Me, Tell Me EP”
China Charmeleon follows up on his album ‘Colours‘, with a two-tracked project titled ‘Tell Me, Tell Me EP’. First on the agenda is the moving, ‘I Want My Soul (Tribute to George Floyd)’, which samples The Truthettes’ 1983 song ‘Peanut Butter & Jelly’.

‘Tell Me, Tell Me EP’ officially drops on the 24th of July 2020.
