Pabi Cooperville officially welcomes you to her world via her debut album, Cooperville. The body of work is a product of a writing camp she held earlier this year. Cooperville was preceded by hit singles Banyana Ke Bafana and Waga Bietjie. Cooper’s 8-track project features top musical acts like Focalistic, Ch’cco, Yumbs, Khanyisa, and Blxckie.

PatrickxxLee & YVS Village‘s latest offering Whatever is one for the moshpits. The party anthem is built on a foundation of a bouncy 808 beat and accented an airy flute. The phrase “you can get whatever lil mama save your cheddar” is embodied by the two boastful tones that follow between each other.

Hermez – “Oasis”
Hermez, an Atlanta-born and Lagos-raised musician, is due to drop is debut album OASIS on 28 October 2022. The 14-track piece if largely influenced by his dual citizenship; fusing Hermez’s many cultural inspirations into a tasty Nigerian afro-sonic brew. Some of the biggest names in the afro-fusion scene are present on the album, including AYLØ, Suté Iwar, Tim Lyre, MOJO AF and more.

Vanco – “Motherland”
The five-track EP Motherland was created by DJ Vanco, a record producer from South Africa. The EP’s overarching theme is about unity. Together with Vanco’s trademark of addicting rhythm, drum pattern, catchy melodies, and chords, the composition’s tone has a calming impact that helps develop a sense of uniformity. Oscar Mbo, Nduduzo Makhathini, Hart the Band, Kususa and Bonokuhle are among the contributors to the EP.
