Sio has grown to be a favourite in the dance scene for her unique lyricism. Her latest single Alchemy is a alternative R&B-leaning tune which she worked on with Daev Martian. Alchemy is part of Sio’s upcoming album Torn Tapestries.
ShabZi Madallion – “The Long Game”
The Long Game,ShabZi Madallion‘s eagerly anticipated sophomore album, is finally available. According to ShabZi, the title represents his acceptance of his enduring love for rap and music creation:

Tena Tenpo – “Benefit Boyz” (ft. Jawzs)
As he continues to prepare the final touches on his upcoming project – Vibes Alive – Tena Tenpo drops the drill-pumped Benefit Boyz. The track features London-based rapper Jawzs who bursts out on the intro.
After weeks of teasing fans, DJ duo TxC finally unveil ist debut EP – A Fierce Piano. The mini-album consists of 5 tracks that includes collaborations with Daliwonga, Toss and more.
Wizzy Kana paid tribute to his deceased father with the song Papa. Wizzy Kana recounts his childhood recollections of his father and his loneliness following his death in this profoundly emotive artistic expression.
Sfarzo Rtee – “House of Sgija”
Sfarzo Rtee‘s House of Sgija honours the sgija – a sub-genre of amapiano. The project consists of largely instrumentals with rattling bass lines and percussion, made in the townships for the purists. The name implies that this is Sfarzo Rtee’s “home” and that he has become one of the faces of this distinctive sound.
House of Sgija is due out on 8 July 2022.
