For his third release with Stay True Sounds, Radic the Myth calls on Scarless Monnie for the hilariously titled ‘Tall Man Can’t Dance EP‘.
The collaborative project consists of four tracks that were squarely made for the dancefloor.
DJ Lambo – “A Tale of Two Cities”
Inspired by the soundscape of a pair of African cities, DJ Lambo unravels ‘A Tale of Two Cities’. The 7-tracker is quite the trip taking us from Lagos to Johannesburg as she exuberantly expresses in the title opener where she sets up to paint a picture of the distinctiveness that makes each city incredibly rich in terms of music.
Just Jabba – “Issa Lot”
Following his mini-hiatus, Just Jabba returns with a bouncy track that is too much to contain titled ‘Issa Lot‘. As a statement, the joint exemplifies that some time away is really good for one to elevate themselves and their game.
El Mukuka – “Heatwave” (ft. James Sakala)
Summer is all the more memorable with the perfect theme song as a companion. This is exactly what El Mukuka brings to the poolside table with the highly energetic, ‘Heatwave‘. Sung in Bemba and English by award-winning singer, James Sakala, the single is an earworm that keeps on giving.
Blaqbonez – “Big Brother”
Blaqbonez is just here to spit facts on his second single of the year ‘Big Brother‘. Earlier this month, the Nigerian rapper gave fans a teaser of it via Twitter confidently stating that they were in for a treat.
The cut is a nod to hip hop heads who continue to relish in his witty lyrics and flow.

26 extraordinarily talented musicians from four countries come together for ‘Forest Jam Sessions 2014-2016‘. The result is a vibrant jazz alliance, including contributions from Madala Kunene, Lerato Lichaba, Gontse Makhene and more.
The ensemble project features a fitting re-interpretation of the late Moses Taiwa Molelekwa’s ‘Wa Mpona’ on which his son Zoe Molelekwa plays the keys.
The former is a feel-good while on your hustle joint while on the latter Stark shows his humorous side. ‘Uyajola’ features Reason, Draper & 2Loux.
Chop Life Crew – “Jaiye” (ft. Tena Tenpo & MOJO)
Chop Life Crew is about to get everyone bouncing to their beat. The squad is on a roll by dropping jam-after-jam and ‘Jaiye‘ is no different. This certified bop features Tena Tenpo and MOJO.
Off their incoming collaborative project, Mawcom X & Kuvie share a second single ‘Mawuli‘.
After the passing of his mother, Mawcom X, went through a dark period in his life. With the help of Kuvie, he channelled this energy into music and presents ‘Gift of God’. The title of the EP is layered with meaning the most obvious of which is showing gratitude for life.
This body of work consists of five tracks appearances from the likes of Boj, Kirani Ayat, Iye as well as $pacely and drops on the 28th of August 2020.
PatrickxxLee – “Eternity”
PatricKxxLee has put the final touches on his fourth full-length body of work in four years, ‘Eternity‘, which is slated for the 18th of September 2020, and consists of an expansive 17 cuts which blend trap and rock influences.
The countdown to the album’s full drop continues he unleashes, ‘Red Halls’.

1020 Cartel is South Africa’s new revelation.
1020 Cartel is a new indie label spearheaded by Ruff & Sjava. The stable’s first outing, ‘iSambulo‘, introduces the new talents, which include Anzo, Yallunder, Nue_Sam & Mzukulu, on its roster. The album is richly steeped in traditional isiZulu music and oration while also borrowing influences from hip hop and afrosoul.
‘Nomalanga‘ by Mzukulu is the final chapter before ‘iSambulo’ launches next week on the 28th of August 2020.
